My Sisters Keeper

Lyons, Ben. Mankiewicz, Ben. "My Sisters Keeper." http://bventertainment.go.com/tv/buenavista/atm/reviews.html?sec=6&subsec=My+Sister%27s+Keeper

Ben Lyons and Ben Mankiewicz commented on the movie My Sisters Keeper. Both felt that the actress Sofia Vassilieva did an outstanding job playing the role of Kate Fitzgerald, a young girl infected by cancer. However they felt that the other cast members were terribly unconvincing in each of their roles. They commented especially on Cameron Diaz saying that she is much more suited for commedic roles. Nevertheless, neither one denied that the movie is a heart throbber. Their advice: bring a tissue.

The advice given is just about the only thing I agree with from the review of this movie. Bring a tissue. I felt Cameron Diaz did an outstanding job executing a part that was not only very difficult to play, but that was also quite different from any role she'd ever taken on. All the actors played each part beautifully. I thought that the ending, despite its difference from the book, went better with the movie. I would definitely recommend seeing this tear jerking feature.
